Encrypting the unit’s internal memory
You can encrypt the contents of the unit’s internal memory, including settings, apps, and other data. After the unit is encrypted, the specified PIN or password must be entered each time the unit is turned on in order to access its contents. At this point, If the wrong PIN or password is entered 30 times in a row*1, the content of the internal memory will be erased.
Once the unit’s internal memory is encrypted, it can only be decrypted by performing a factory data reset.
