D Security
Works as «Ctrl» + «Alt» + «Del». Locks the computer.
  • On the Windows logon screen and the Welcome screen, this button work as «Ctrl» + «Alt» + «Del».
NOTE
- The Hardware buttons work when the Windows screen is displayed.
- The Hardware buttons may not work immediately after Windows is started up or the Windows logon screen (or the Welcome screen) is displayed.

To assign different functions to the Security Button

The Security button functions as «Ctrl» + «Alt» + «Del» at the time of purchase.
Also, at the time of purchase, the Security button functions as «F2» while you start up the computer (while [Panasonic] boot screen is displayed).
You can configure the button to function as buttons «F1» to «F12», and you can disable the button function ([Not Assigned]) while you start up the computer.
  1. Start up the Setup Utility (refer toStarting the Setup Utility).
  2. Select [Main].
  3. Select [SAS Button] and press «Enter».
  4. Press «↑» «↓» to select the desired button («F1» to «F12») and press «Enter».
  5. Press «F10», and then select [Yes] and press «Enter».
NOTE
- When the computer has started up, the Security button functions as «Ctrl» + «Alt» + «Del», regardless of the [SAS Button] setting.
