Customizing the buttons
You can change the functions assigned to the search button and the side button. Some of the functions that you can assign to a short press and long press of these buttons are listed below.

Launch an app of your choosing

Settings menu
•
Glove touch mode
•
Rain sensing touch mode
•
Minimum limit brightness
•
Barcode trigger (when the [Barcode Reader] app is launched) (certain models only)
Changing the functions assigned to the buttons
1.
Flick the Start screen to the left, and then in the App list, tap [User Button Manager].

Flick the screen to the left or right to select the button you want to change, tap [Short Press] or [Long Press], and then select the desired function.
Default button assignments
The default button assignments are explained below.
Front key (Right Key)
Short Press
Press to search the web.
Long Press
Turns on the Speech function.
Side key (Left side Key)
Short Press
For models with an optional barcode reader: When the [Barcode Reader] app is launched, starts scanning the barcode. For other models: Launches the [User Button Manager] app.
Long Press
For models with an optional barcode reader: When the [Barcode Reader] app is launched, starts scanning the barcode. For other models: Launches the [User Button Manager] app.
