[UserButtonManager] app
You can customize the unit’s buttons. Some of the available functions that you can assign to the buttons are listed below.
Back (the same function as )
Home (the same function as )
Menu (the same function as )
Barcode reader trigger (certain models only)
Launch the [Dashboard] app or an app of your choosing
Capture a screenshot (saves the image to the following folder: /mnt/sdcard/Pictures/Screenshots)
Security mode (turns the screen off, locks the screen, and turns the sound off)
Changing the functions assigned to the buttons

From the home screen, tap [UserButtonManager].

Tap next to the item you want to change, and then select the desired function.
Default button assignments
The default button assignments are explained below.
Short press assignments
A1
Returns to the previous screen or closes the current screen, menu, on-screen keyboard, etc. (The same function as .)
A2
Displays the home screen. (The same function as .)
A3
Displays the list of options (if available) for the current screen.
Side button
For models with an optional barcode reader: Starts scanning the barcode. Release the button to stop scanning.
For other models: Turns on glove touch mode.
A1+A2
For models with dual SIM card slots: Allows you to select the active SIM card slot.
For other models: No function by default.
A2+A3
Captures a screenshot.
A1+A3
(No function by default)
Long press (press and hold) assignments
A1
Turns security mode on, i.e., turns off the screen and locks the screen if screen lock is set (see Configuring the screen lock).
A2
Turns customized silent mode on and off (see Customized silent mode).
A3
Launches the [Dashboard] app.
Side button
For models with an optional barcode reader: Starts scanning the barcode. Release the button to stop scanning.
For other models: Turns on rain sensing touch mode.
