Flick the Start screen to the left, and then in the App list, tap [Barcode Reader].

Settings of the button to start scanning
Press the side button to start scanning barcodes.
You can also use the [User Button Manager] app to configure which button is used to start scanning barcodes. See Customizing the buttons for more information.
