Windows 10 Upgrade Support Information

The Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) 32bit is not supported.

When upgrading to Windows 10, reinstall the system to Windows 7 (64bit).

Intel CPPC Driver may be disabled in the Device Manager when upgrading from Windows 7.

Install CPPC driver from the Panasonic website.

C:\Util\drivers\cppc , run cppc Pinstall.bat

You cannot automatically switch between Clamshell mode and Tablet mode with Windows 10.

Install Intel Virtual Buttons Driver from the Panasonic website.

Intel Video Driver's graphics property may display irregularly.

New Intel^® HD Graphics driver will be installed with the Windows Update.

When switching from a tablet to laptop style by rotating the display, the screen may not return to its proper position.

To return the screen to its normal position, use the rotation function of the screen rotation utility (Alt+X).

If SD card is inserted while the computer is sleeping, it may not be recognized when recovering from Sleep mode.

Uninstall the O2Micro SD driver from the Programs and Features, and restart the PC. Download O2Micro SD driver from the Panasonic website, install from c:\Util10\drivers\sd_o2, and switch the O2Flash service to automatic mode and start it manually.

If the error message "Windows Shell Common dll has stopped working" appears, it's caused by "Fujitsu Touch Screen Driver".

To fix this issue, please follow the next steps.

There is a case that PC hangs when using Miracast connection after resuming from sleep.

Please update the Video(GFX) driver as following "4463" version.

Barcode module setting related operations in USB - HID POS mode can not be performed.
The fixed program for this issue has been distributed by Windows Update since Oct. 2016. Please install it by Windows Update.

If you have set "USB-HID POS" mode accidentally, please perform the following steps.

Bluetooth Stack for Windows by TOSHIBA:

Since the Bluetooth stack for Windows by Toshiba does not support Windows10, uninstall it and check for Windows Update.

TOSHIBA Bluetoorh Stack does not support Windows10.
After upgrading to Windows 10.
1) Blutooth function will be provided by Operating System.
2) The pairing information will be delete because Bluetooth Stack was changed.

Before using Bluetooth devices, please execute pairing. Bluetooth Stack (Windows10) does not support some profiles below.

Wireless Switching:

• CF-19 (mk8) Windows 7 only: Install the Wireless Tool Box.
  Uninstall the Wireless Switch Utility.
• When you switch the wireless to OFF while the airplane mode is ON or the WiFi (/BT/WiMAX/GPS) is turned ON, the WiFi (/BT/WiMAX/GPS) RF may remain ON. If this occurs, switch the wireless ON and then switch it back OFF.

If you click the "Support Information" in the System Information on the property of PC,Microsoft support information will be displayed, not Panasonic's support link.

Display Link and USB serial on cradle will not operate with the existing Displaylink Driver.

Win10 Driver is scheduled to be released by DisplayLink through the Windows update.

Apply to PC equipped with Wireless WAN EM7330 only, after Upgrading from Win7 to Win10

• The wireless helper service (Switch the USB hub from Disable → Enable) will malfunction.
• The wireless diagnostics utility will not be able to recognize the WWAN.

Install the new WWAN driver after updating to Win10 from the Panasonic website.

The Intel Smart Connect Technology is blinking on the task tray.

It is not compatible with Windows 10 and not required. Please uninstall it from the Add or Remove Programs tool.

The functions that aren't supported by Windows 10 are listed below. For those who are planning to use the following functions, do not update to Windows 10.

• You will not be able to connect the Intel^® Wireless Display (WiDi)
• You will not be able to connect to a projector with Panasonic Wireless Manager ME software.

Apply to PC equipped with the serial connection GPS

If the serial connection GPS (not WWAN GPS) is active, the cursor may jump when using WinRE.

Be sure to set the GPS to "Disable" from the Setup Utility before Upgrading to Windows 10.

The “OS version” displayed on the “setup” tab will be displayed as “Windows 8.1 xxxxx”. Some of the items displayed on the “Power Option” tab will be displayed as “unknown.”

Install the PC information viewer V8.14L10 or later that is supplied as the upgrade module.

After installing the upgrade module, the “PC information viewer” and “Screen copy” functions cannot be used.

Touch pad Accidental Operation Prevention Utility :

• When the "Prevent process is active", sometimes the "finger scroll" action is ignored.
  In this case, please stop "Prevent Process" and Sign out - Sign in.
• If the "Enable Specified Swipe Only" setting in "Advanced Settings" is checked, It does not work "Swipe" Action.
  Do not set "Enable Specified Swipe Only".

Infineon TPM Professional Package :

This software is not supported on Windows 10.
When upgrading to Windows 10, protected data by this software should be decrypted and TPM professional package should be uninstalled.

The fixed program for this issue has been distributed by Windows Update since Oct. 2016.
Please install it by Windows Update.

The window opened in the [Resolution] tile is changed to [Customize your display].

To operate the resolution please click on [Advanced display settings] at the bottom.

There is a case of that the Camara device keeps [Enable] state when you set to [Disable].

It is restriction in October 2016.
Please wait the "Windows Update" support from Microsoft.
If you set to the Camera device is [Disable] before Microsoft support, please keep over 30 sec for the Camera device is [Enable] state.

The volume of quieter sound becomes low.

Change Loudness Equalization from "disabled" to "enabled" at Speakers Properties.

1. Right-click speaker icon on the task tray and click [Playback devices].
2. Double-click [Speakers].
3. Click [Enhancements].
4. Put checkmark on [Loudness Equalization] and click [OK].
5. Click [OK] to close [Sound] window.

When upgrade to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Applications listed below applications aren't displayed at "Programs and Features".
However Applications listed below applications work correctly.

"unknown device"(ACPI\MAT0028) appears in device manager.

Camera Utility V3.08 or V3.09 somecase it cannot select the "MJPEG".

Please install it by Windows Update.

When WWAN is set to off, WWAN is turned on after sleep/resuming, restarting PC.

Please turn on/off WWAN by using OS Network Settings, without using Wireless Switch Utility.
