USB connection
You can use the unit’s micro USB port to connect the unit to a computer or other device.
Connecting the unit to a computer
You can connect the unit to a computer and access it as a mass storage device. Use the following procedure to confirm that the unit is configured to mount on the computer as a mass storage device.

From the home screen, tap
→
[Settings] →
[Storage] →
→
[USB computer connection].

Turn on the [Media device (MTP)] checkbox.
Note
•
Do not remove the USB connection cable while the unit is being accessed. Doing so may corrupt the data.
Sharing the unit’s Internet connection via USB (USB tethering) (certain models only)
Use this procedure to use the unit’s USB connection to share the unit’s Internet connection with a computer. You may not be able to share the unit’s cellular network connection (certain models only) depending on your cellular network service provider.

From the home screen, tap
→
[Settings] →
[More] →
[Tethering & portable hotspot].
2.
Tap the [USB tethering] switch to turn it on.
