You can update the software when a system update is released.
IMPORTANT

Check the following before starting the update.

The remaining battery level is sufficient

The unit has available storage space (flick the Start screen to the left, in the All apps list, tap [Settings] → [System] → [Storage], and if there is no storage space, make some room for the update)

The date and time are correct

Flick the Start screen to the left, and then in the All apps list, tap [Settings] → [Update & security] → [Phone update] → [Check for updates].
