Adjusting the Start screen
Adding tiles
Various items, such as apps, contacts, and web sites, can be added to the Start screen as tiles.
Example: Adding an app
1.
Flick the Start screen to the left, and then in the All apps list, tap and hold the desired item.

Tap [Pin to Start].

The screen changes to the Start screen.
Moving, resizing and deleting tiles
1.
On the Start screen, tap and hold the desired tile.
2.
To move the tile, drag it to the desired location.
To resize the tile, tap
until the tile changes to the size you want.
To delete the tile, tap
.
3.
To finish, press
(Start button).
Customizing the Start screen
You can customize the Start screen by changing the color for your phone's background or an accent color used in various places, such as the tiles on the Start screen. You can even use a photo as the background for the tiles, or add more tiles.
1.
Flick the Start screen to the left, and then in the All apps list, tap [Settings] → [Personalization] → [Start] or [Colors].
2.
Follow the on-screen instructions and change the settings.
